This morning started out like any other that I can remember for the past 2 1/2 years... A 4 mile run to who knows where. Wake up, put on my army issued pt uniform, with my please dont hit me while im running in the middle of the road belt, standing in formation freezing at 0630 in the morning. The most enjoyable thing about pt is the cold 40 degree chill of the morning air, the pollen from the million pine trees invading and attacking my sinuses, and the detoxification of alcohol from the night before. Need not mention the cadences we sing that haunt my dreams... We finally get back to stretch out the pain and shower, dress in our respective military uniform and then hit the road for the adventure of a well planned day of nothing.Tuesday, April 21, 2009
