Every now again you will catch a glimpse in a demotivated soldiers eye. A soldier beaten down, in pain and ready to quit. Before he picks himself back up off his knee you will see the glimpse of Honor, pride and self accomplishment hiding behind his tears. And the pain...
Being a soldier is more than what we live daily. Soldiers forget that what we do as a soldier is an incredible feat.
To us its normal but to you its Godly... When in times of despair we remember why we fight even if you dont! It's our personal struggle and representation of how hard life can be. It is worn on our face, shown in our eyes and our soul carries the burden that our back can't handle anylonger. We are beaten, broken but will never be defeated until our last breath is breathed...
You can see it in my eyes how my heart is bleeding out and even though I am 6'3'' and bench 225 my soul is stronger than my body and my heart is stronger than the hardest test from life!
So Bring the pain Drill Sergeant! We can handle it... After all we are the ones who carry it!
